Some people are not happy about Nigel Farage's victory speech

Farage's statement has been met by critics with disgust, specifically in reaction to his suggestion that independence had come "without having to fight, without a single bullet being fired." Many believe this choice of words to be in poor taste and spoken in flagrant disregard for the recent murder of Labour MP Jo Cox.

Cox's suspected murderer Thomas Mair gave his name as “death to traitors, freedom for Britain” in court.
On a less somber note, Twitter is also calling the Ukip leader out for drawing some pretty strong parallels to Bill Pullman's classic speech in the Independence Dayfilm.
