Over five years ago, when the last Harry Potter movie premiered, fans hugged and cried for the end of their beloved series.

Boy, were we wrong.

Though the original book series ended in 2007, and the films four years later, 2016 definitively taught us that J.K. Rowling must've made horcruxes for the Wizarding World because it will never die.

With the premiere of the first Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Themfilm Nov. 18, we have a few ideas of what the next spin-off in the Potter world should be.

1. Marauders

Obviously this has to be on the list. Fans have begged for Marauders stories for years, never getting enough of the adventures of Harry's father James and his best friends Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and eventual betrayer Peter Pettigrew. These boys were like the Weasley twins x4, plus they were accomplished enough wizards to become animagi AND create the only known complete map of Hogwarts. While ideas for this possible spin-off are numerous, one Tumblr user plotted a fairly compelling pitch for a Marauders TV series.

2. Hogwarts Founders

Think about it: Everything we saw in the original Potter series only existed because four insanely powerful witches and wizards decided to create a school. All the fandom discussions about house sorting originated with them. Not only did those four -- that's Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Helga Hufflepuff for the newbies -- create the school together, but they then were nearly destroyed by in-fighting and Slytherin's eventual defecting. Sounds almost Game of Thrones-esque, though on a much smaller scale and with a basilisk instead of dragons. The most important question this spin-off could answer: did any of them ever hook up? It sounds like romantic tension waiting to happen.

3. Ilvermorny Founding

Though Pottermore covered the broad strokes of the American wizarding school origins, fans still have countless questions about how the school operates and what life is like there. How can we argue over Ilvermorny sorting if we don't know everything about the different houses? How do students get to the school? What are the classes like? Really, how does a wizarding school operate in the United States? We assume frats and pep rallies are involved.

4. Quidditch Through the Ages

If Jo was able to turn the small booklet Fantastic Beastsinto a 5-film series, then she can do at least one movie out of her other charity project, Quidditch Through the Ages. Who wouldn't want to watch two hours of witches and wizards flying through the air, throwing bludgers and quaffles at each other? It could go through the history of the sport like a documentary, or it could follow a team like the Chudley Cannons through a season in the style of Friday Night Lights. Either way, it would be awesome.

5. Young Dumbledore

While we're going to see Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts series, the latest news says this will be a Dumbledore when he was a teacher at Hogwarts between the years of 1926 and 1945. But the bits of information about his life given in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows gave quite the tease into his teen years with future evil wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Getting to see the famous wise wizard as an ambitious teenager, especially as he's likely falling in love with Grindelwald, would be amazing. And would give great context for their eventual showdown in Fantastic Beasts.

6. Voldemort: Origins

We know what Tom Riddle did at school, including murdering fellow students with giant snakes and learning how to split his soul in the most evil ways. And we know what he was like when he returned to Britain and began gaining power. But what happened when he was abroad, honing his dark magic? Think of a great, creepy series like Penny Dreadful. And maybe we could get more information on what the heck went down with him and Bellatrix Lestrange.

7. Background Slytherin

If you've ever been on Tumblr, you've likely seen Potter fans discussing what life is like at Hogwarts for students that aren't the Chosen One. A sitcom about magical students just trying to study while some random Gryffindors are ignoring rules and fighting off government officials would be hilarious. For inspiration, there are already webcomics like My Life as a Background Slytherin.

These are golden ideas, Jo. Please get on at least one of them.
