After YouTube ban, gun vloggers find a new home on Pornhub

Trust me, you don't want to search "guns" on Pornhub.

But if you do, these days, the search will yield more than just your run-of-the-mill use of guns as a sexual prop.

Following YouTube's announced ban of several types of gun-related content, as reported by Bloomberg, at least one gun blogger has moved its video operations to the popular pornography site, Pornhub.

On Wednesday, YouTube took steps to remove certain kinds of gun-related videos from its platform. Following the Las Vegas massacre in October 2017, YouTube removed bump-stock DIY videos. Now, it's gone a step further, prohibiting videos that promote the sale of firearms and accessories, along with firearm assembly instructional videos.

InRangeTV makes instructional and promotional gun videos. Following the ban, the vloggers decided to post their content on Pornhub instead.

"InRangeTV is excited to be joining a group of content creators who are truly open and non-judgmental when it comes to potentially controversial content," the vloggers Tweeted of their new internet home.

The InRangeTV Pornhub channel currently has nearly 500 followers, 12,000 video views, and more than 100 "friends."

Pornhub's terms of service do not currently prohibit gun vlogging. Which, uh, makes sense considering their terms primarily focus on content related to minors and violence.

However, "promotional" content containing "unauthorized solicitation" is not allowed on the site, which would theoretically mean any video promoting the sale of guns would be in violation of terms, though InRangeTV's videos may not meet that standard. Pornhub did not immediately respond to Mashable's request for comment about whether it will allow non-porn firearm content to exist on the site.

Welp, this is the world we live in now!
